Privacy policy

Effective 2026-08-24. This policy explains what FromDigToSwim, operated by Brian Higdon, sole proprietor (“we”), collects on fromdigtoswim.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We will post a new effective date here when it materially changes.

1. Information you give us

A pool-project request can include your name, phone number, email address, project ZIP code, selected market, pool type, budget range, timeline, and the details you type. A builder inquiry can include the business name, city and state, business email address, and the option selected. We do not ask for and do not want Social Security numbers, financial-account details, health records, precise location, or other sensitive information in either form.

2. Security verification and measurement

The forms load Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish people from automated abuse. Turnstile processes browser and network security signals and returns a short-lived token. Your browser sends that token with the form to this site's own Cloudflare Worker. The Worker sends the token and network address to Cloudflare's server-side Siteverify service, requires the exact fromdigtoswim.com hostname and this site's form action, and does not store or email the token. Form information is not stored or emailed unless verification succeeds.

Cloudflare Web Analytics measures aggregate page views, referral paths, and page-load performance without advertising cookies or browser storage. Builder call and website buttons also increment an approximate daily aggregate counter in this property's own Cloudflare storage before redirecting you. Those counters contain only the date, action, market, and listing identifier. We do not use advertising pixels, cross-site behavioral tracking, session recording, or a chat widget.

3. How a verified request is handled

After server-side verification, this property's Worker writes the request and the exact consent wording and version to the dedicated private fromdigtoswim-leads Cloudflare R2 bucket before attempting a notification. The record includes the time, request page, browser user-agent, verification action, and a one-way salted hash of the Cloudflare client IP address. The raw IP address is not stored or emailed. We do not classify or reject a request by language, country, email provider, or message content.

Cloudflare Email Sending then accepts a plain-text notification addressed only to contact@fromdigtoswim.com, this property's Microsoft 365 shared mailbox. Cloudflare's acceptance of that notification does not itself prove inbox delivery. Microsoft 365 remains the inbound email provider; form handling does not route this site's inbound mail through Cloudflare.

4. How we use and share your information

Today, a pool-project request stays with us. It is received by Brian Higdon, sole proprietor and is not sent to any pool builder or other business. The form, this policy, and the effective date will change before any local matching begins.

We do not sell or rent requests, combine them with another property's leads, provide them to data brokers or marketing-list companies, or use them for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information when required by law, to investigate abuse, or as part of a documented sale or transfer of this website.

5. Contact consent and stopping messages

A homeowner who checks the consent box asks FromDigToSwim to email, call, or text about that pool project. A builder representative who checks the business box asks us to email about the selected listing or partnership option. Consent is not a condition of purchase, and no estimate, introduction, response, placement, lead volume, or commercial relationship is guaranteed. Reply STOP to a text or email contact@fromdigtoswim.com to withdraw consent.

6. Business listing information

Listing names, locations, phone numbers, ratings, review counts, and service details come from public or operator sources. If you represent a listed pool builder and want information corrected or removed, email contact@fromdigtoswim.com or use the for-builders page. Corrections and removals are free.

7. Retention, access, correction, and deletion

Request, consent, notification-acceptance, and notification-failure records in the dedicated R2 bucket automatically expire after five years. Aggregate click counters expire after two years. A notification copy in the property mailbox is retained only as reasonably needed for operations, consent documentation, legal compliance, and dispute resolution. Standard Cloudflare security logs may be retained under Cloudflare's service terms.

Email contact@fromdigtoswim.com to ask what request information we hold, correct it, withdraw consent, or request deletion. We will delete information when legally permitted and explain any information that must remain for a documented legal reason. We do not charge for a request, require an account, or discriminate because you exercised a privacy right.

8. Children and contact

This directory is intended for adults making home-project or business decisions. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
